Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance manager to take ownership of a small but growing finance team for a successful services group in Lancashire. The finance manager will work closely with the head of finance to carry out the following duties:

• Manage and prepare the monthly management accounts and reporting packs for two entities.
• Lead, support and develop the finance team and instil in them a culture of continuous improvement
• Provide insightful analysis to finance and non finance stakeholders to aid decision making and understand the overall company performance
• Business partner with budget holders and work collaboratively to prepare the annual budget
• Ensure rigour and a robust financial control framework across processes and procedures
• Lead and co–ordinate the annual statutory audit and be the main point of contact for the auditors
