Our client, a well regarded and established chartered accountancy practice based in Maidstone, are seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to joint their audit and accounts team.

This very successful firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation for delivering quality services, along with building strong relationships with its wide-ranging client bases, from small and medium businesses to international groups and high net worth individuals. The firm offers a very supportive and team focused environment, reflected by a low staff turnover and long serving staff.

Joining this firm of chartered accountants as an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior based from their Maidstone offices, you will join their busy audit and accounts team and you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with audits, including planning and field work.
  
• General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
  
• Preparation of management accounts.
  
• Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
  
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
  
• Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
  
• Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.
  

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA part qualified
• Minimum 2 years audit experience in a general accountancy practice environment.
• The ability to perform to deadlines and be highly personable.
