Maintenance Technician (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing)
Location: N5 2EQ , Islington / Hackney area.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Position Overview: We seek a Maintenance Technician Ideally with some expertise in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure the efficient operation of School facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician will conduct routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. They will troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, coordinate with external contractors for larger projects, and maintain accurate maintenance records while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills: Candidates should have proven maintenance experience and relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical trades. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are essential. A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate is ESSENTIAL
