Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Brand Marketing Coordinator interested in luxury fashion to join our growing team, who'll primarily focus on helping grow and run the brand from digital marketing to social media content and marketing and operations.
The successful applicant will support the Founder and Director of Alexia Karides in a broad range of responsibilities, including managing external communications, both customer service and the YSSO social media accounts, and helping prepare for and assisting with photoshoots. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our founder in the day-to-day operations of our sustainable fashion start-up, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
We are looking for someone highly responsible and organised and who is looking to take on responsibility and grow in a brand. YSSO is growing and getting market recognition therefore whomever joins in this role has the potential to become a full-time brand manager.
Main Tasks:
- Manage external communications, including customer service inquiries.
- Coordinate with our PR agency and publications, handling press send-outs and facilitating media relations.
- Lead the project management of pop-up events and brand activations, contributing to their successful execution.
- Oversee product catalogue management and analyse sell-through rates, collaborating with the founder on overall brand management strategies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of brand marketing initiatives and photoshoots, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
- Monitor marketing projects' progress and deadlines, liaising with suppliers, production teams, and digital marketing specialists.
- Utilize the Shopify platform to execute marketing campaigns and adjust merchandising efficiently.
- Assist with wholesale admin and sales support
- Assistance with product management and online merchandising
- Become an authority in the YSSO product catalogue, and understand in-depth the product offering
- Build and maintain customer relations, and expand on customer loyalty
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and supportive manner
- Coordinate with courier companies to ensure prompt delivery, dispute resolution and reporting any issues.
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, fashion, PR or events
- Impeccable written and spoken English
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, think critically, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- UK University degree in a relevant field.
- Passion for sustainable fashion and commitment to YSSO's mission and values.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Beneficial:
- Proficiency with Shopify and social media management tools is desirable
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets is preferable
- Some Photoshop or Canva experience is preferred.
Location and Schedule:
- This position is based at our offices in Notting Hill (W10) and may require occasional travel for photoshoots, including international locations.
- The role is in-person and full-time.

Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, depending on the level of experience, with private medical insurance benefits.
