Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join the South Essex Parking Partnership (SEPP) in a Civil Enforcement role. If you have experience of working with the public and hold a full UK driving licence, we want to hear from you!

The South Essex Parking Partnership (SEPP) brings together all street-based parking services across South Essex. It is led by Chelmsford City Council and provides a fair and responsible service to the administration of parking rules.

The successful applicants will join our existing team of Civil Enforcement Officers that operate in:
The Borough of Brentwood – Based at Town Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM14 9SQ

Working together with the existing team of Civil Enforcement Officers, day to day activities will include patrolling parking areas to ensure the safe and free flow of traffic. This being achieved by working with, and providing information to, members of the public about parking and other related issues, along with the issuing of penalty change notices where appropriate. This job must be achieved using a calm, tactful and professional approach with discretion and education at the heart of what we do.

The successful applicants will be working 37 hours per week as part of a rota which will be worked between Monday and Saturday. All training, equipment, vehicles and uniform will be provided.
