About the job Full time Nanny in Altrincham
A family in Altrincham, South Manchester are seeking a loving, creative and organised nanny to join their family from April 2024 onwards, as their current nanny starts a year of maternity leave.
The family have two children: a 10 month baby girl and a 3 year old girl who will be at pre-prep 5 days a week from April. They are looking to find a reliable, independent and trustworthy nanny who will be able to provide the utmost care to support their childrens development during these important early years.
This is a wonderful opportunity which would suit someone able to lead engaging age-appropriate activities to guide the children through their developmental milestones. The successful nanny will take sole-charge care for a baby who will be 1 year old at the start date and will be responsible for organising activities including play dates, preparing meals, changing, nursery cleaning duties and general care. You will also be responsible for their 3 year old daughter in the school holidays and before and after school.
The two children are being raised bilingual, and the successful Nanny would work with the parents to engage in second language activities e.g. listening to recorded stories and songs. Ability to speak the second language, Mandarin Chinese, is a nice to have.
A driver with their own vehicle is desirable for this position, but not essential as there are plenty of baby and toddler activities within walking distance or a short tram ride away.
Hours
5 full days, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, 50 hours per week
Salary
The hourly rate will be £15 gross per hour

Essential requirements
· · Fully enhanced DBS (Criminal Record Check) on the update service agency can assist.
· · Paediatric First Aid certificate required. (valid, within date)
· · Previous professional experience caring for children, in a sole-charge capacity.
· · Experience caring for very young children (babies & toddlers).
· · References from previous employers will be required.
