Job description
This is an exceptional opportunity to become a Finance Analyst within a well known business based in the West Midlands. Our client concentrates on providing the highest quality services to its customers and continues to grow.
The main purpose of the role is to provide analysis and reporting on overhead expenses and costs, contributing to controlling and optimising financial efficiency, in line with the groups finance goals and objectives.
Please note that this role is predominantly remote with some travel to regional offices.
The role:-
- Providing accurate and robust expense and overhead analysis and reporting for inclusion in key financial reporting, balance sheets and P&Ls
- Assisting in the development of accurate and realistic overhead budgets in line with financial reporting and budgeting timeframes
- Identifying and analysing variances of actual versus budgeted overhead costs
- Building and maintaining positive and effective stakeholder and communication and engagement, in conjunction with Margin Manager and other colleagues
The candidate:-
- Part or Newly Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong Excel Skills
- Experience of financial analysis, data interpretation and report generation skills
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
