Bradford Manufacturing Futures

The University has outstanding capabilities and track record in research and innovation with partners in the domains of circular economy and advanced manufacturing. 

We have received grant funding to work with Bradford Council and a consortium of Bradford-based manufacturers on the Bradford Manufacturing Futures project, which will see the development of Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans at firm, cluster and District levels over 2024. 

The University’s role is to establish a Zero Carbon Knowledge Hub enabling access to and engagement with our academic expertise as part of this project. We require an Industrial Decarbonisation Fellow both to establish the Hub and to develop a plan to sustain it into 2025.
