We are currently representing a talented Architectural Practice based locally to Rochdale, Greater Manchester that are actively seeking an Associate Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Architect to build and develop their career within a well-established, talented team. There are excellent progression opportunities to Associate Director level and candidates of this level are also encouraged to apply.

Associate Architect Position Benefits

Associate Architect Position Overview

• Working on a range of small to large scale developments within several sectors
• Work closely with the Managing Director
• Client liaison
• Business development
• Assist with overseeing and managing workload
• Manage the design and construction projects
• Assist Junior members of staff
• Use AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp on a daily basis

Associate Architect Position Requirements

• Living within a commutable distance of Rochdale, Manchester
• Minimum of 5 years professional working experience in the UK (post qualifications)
• Work distribution and team managerial skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD - Revit and SketchUp skills would be of advantage
• Excellent detail and technical ability
• Time Management
• Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Building Standards
• Good Communication and co-ordination skills
• Knowledge of NBS specification and JCT contracts
