Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Darlington
£24-£30 per hour
Until 31st March 2024, then on a month-to-month basis until October
Full-time, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our client on an interim basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Elderly Care, Stroke, and Community Stroke Team, providing essential support and expertise to improve the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialised speech and language therapy services to patients in Elderly Care, Stroke, and Community Stroke settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals with speech and language disorders.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Previous experience in Elderly Care, Stroke, or Community Stroke setting.
The position starts at the B6 induction rate, with progression to B7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.
