Facilities Manager in Dorset Paying £14.43 per hr ref 5245602
Full time hours on a temporary basis
This role will involve:
- To manage and develop the Facilities and Trades Teams to provide a soft facilities management service across the operational estate.
- To manage and lead a small multi-disciplinary trades team performing responsive repairs and routine compliance testing / monitoring across properties.
- To be responsible for the accounting of operational budgets including the allocation, monitoring and reporting and associated recharges where required for services provided to others.
- Be responsible for the security and safety of all operational buildings. Including arrangements for unlocking and locking of buildings by the establishment of an early and late duty rota.
- Respond to out of hours call outs as appropriate
- To undertake operational Health and Safety inspections and to lead on ensuring that all statutory compliance monitoring, testing, monitoring and reporting within the remit of the service area is completed as directed by the Corporate Health & Safety team and the Property Safety, Sustainability and Information Management team.
- To provide a reactive emergency service to the operational properties within the remit of services provided in the soft FM service area.
- Be responsible for the issue of ID Badges or appropriate secure access systems at premises.
- Be responsible for incoming and outgoing mail including delivery across the operational estate.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance of premises are undertaken in accordance with relevant procedures.
