Job description

Technical Sales & Projects Engineer - Pitkin & Ruddock specialise in Temperature Controlled Environments including refrigeration, heat recovery, ventilation, heat pumps and air-conditioning. We are looking for a Technical Sales & Projects Engineer with a background in refrigeration and air conditioning, to be based on our Bury St Edmunds Service Centre to cover our work in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.

The Technical Sales & Projects Engineer will be responsible for working with our branch management team with planning, development and managing the next stage of our company development strategy, to generate, build and expand our customer base in the East Anglian area.

Other Responsibilities of theSales Engineer:

- Be actively involved in the process of creating new and developing existing business to maximise salesfor both installation of new products, services, and maintenance agreements.

- To seek, establish, build and manage customer relationships including system design and selection ofappropriate equipment suitable for their needs.

- To fully manage the engineering and organisation for jobs and projects from enquiry tocompletion.

- To liaise with engineers, sub-contractors, and colleagues to ensure projects are carried out in anefficient and effective manner.

- To ensure quality assurance, profitability and customer satisfaction through ongoing monitoringand final inspection of projects and jobs and provide feedback.

We have a fair, competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum andoffer bonus incentives for this position. The package will include a hybrid company car. We have a company pension scheme and increasing annual leave entitlement for length of service.
