Salary: £48,849 - £51,121 (inclusive of 12.5% market supplement)

Hours per week: 37 hours

Whole Life Pathways - Supporting Mental Health  

Our Mental Health team would like to offer an Approved Mental Health Professional the chance to work within a great environment with a clear emphasis on promoting health & well-being. 

This team is experienced, enthusiastic, and committed to providing social care interventions to those people meeting the threshold for secondary mental health care. The team work closely with the secondary providers in Wiltshire (AWP) and the other adult social care teams when they require access to specialist advice. 

As an AMHP, you will undertake the urgent assessment of adults with suspected social care needs to ensure that customers and their careers are protected from harm. You will also act as duty officer for the team as required, participating in the duty rota, responding effectively to referrals & enquiries and undertake professional supervision of unqualified staff i.e. students where appropriate. 

To qualify for this role, you need to be a registered Approved Mental Health practitioner with extensive relevant or transferable experience in a Mental Health or Adult Care setting. To carry out the role you will need to have a thorough knowledge of social care legislation and policy, including mental capacity and safeguarding adults, Health & Social Care legislation and wider policy context.

This position comes with a 12.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
