Role: Mortgage Advisor

Location: Ringwood, Dorset

Salary: c£60,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with an independent broker business who is looking for a Mortgage and Protection Broker, based in Ringwood, Dorset.

Self employed - ideally however would consider employed.

Role and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up sales enquires
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers
• Carry out market research
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Qualifications
You will need to be fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with 12 months experience and must have advised on mortgages within the last two years

• Are you an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser?
• We are seeking ambitious CAS qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisers that are looking to establish themselves under an already successful Mortgage Brokerage in the market town of Ringwood.
• The opportunity would suit either those who are currently self - employed Mortgage and Protection brokers or employed Mortgage & Protection advisers currently working in banks, building societies or estate agencies looking for good support to build a successful career.
• We are looking to add to our team of 10, as a business we offer all of our advisers competitive commission splits/bonus reflective of the market and a platform to succeed in the Mortgage industry. You will be responsible for giving independent advice and making recommendations on Mortgages and Protection. You will have the opportunity to work between our office and working from home.
• Key requirements are: Self- motivated and highly driven to grow your own business. Full CeMAP or equivalent qualification.
• CAS Authorised A good credit history is essential, you will also need to be free from any regulatory breaches and not be banned from accessing any lenders and providers Ideally the candidate will already have an existing client base however this is not essential Marketing support and guidance will be provided so that you can grow your business in a short space of time.
• For self-employed roles we do require a minimum of 2 days in the office as we like to have a team environment within the office Employed hours will be Monday - Friday 9-5 Successful candidates will benefit from:
• Competitive commission splits/Bonus Self Employed Packages - OTE in excess of £50,000 Mortgage leads will be provided, however you will also be expected to network in order to build up your own client base Independence and the opportunity to run your own business.
• Easy to use CRM Software with integrated sourcing tool Excellent office administration system Full training, ongoing compliance, mentoring, competence and supervision support Advancement to Equity Release Advisor
