About the Role
The Internal Communications and Engagement Manager is pivotal in ensuring colleagues are kept up to date with everything that is going on in the business. You are crucial in sharing our strategy, driving employee engagement and constantly looking for new and innovative ways to communicate and drive our culture forward.
As the Internal Comms & Engagement Manager, you will work closely with the CEO and their executive leadership team to support with day to day messaging and storytelling, ensuring that our employees understand the part they play in our future strategy. You will bring our customers to life with the strategic aim of driving increased employee advocacy of our products and services across the organisation.
This role will report Head of Employee Experience and will work closely with the rest of the People Leadership Team and People Business Partners.
What you will be working on
Provide a comms business partner style service to the Wholesale leadership teams
Consult with ExCo and their leadership teams on their communication strategies to increase their visibility across the business, in order to drive colleague engagement and increased understanding of the strategy
Being a subject matter expert on when and how they communicate and advise on the tools available
Working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful ‘all company’ communication including:
All Company / Business Unit Comms including organisational announcement and company updates
Comms support and advice on their activity roadmaps; co-ordinating, executing and promoting their campaigns / product launches etc.
Provide messaging to tell the narrative of the business
Stakeholder management is crucial to deliver engaging Business Unit updates including monthly events, local updates and listening workshops
Copywriting including creating/proofing updates from senior management
Coordinate and deliver company-wide comms (announcements / blogs, intranet content, various newsletters, webcasts)
Planning and delivery of company events
Co-ordinating local and company-wide events (both in-person and virtual) to enthuse and engage colleagues, including project planning, budget management and delegate experience
Provide online community management across our digital channels
Undertake other group communications projects as and when required
What will make you successful in your role?
Experienced in driving results in employee engagement, using a variety of tools and data
Proven expert in internal communications, working in a fast paced environment and used to managing change
Strong communicator and strategist
Self -reliant, takes initiative and is proactive
Strong stakeholder management is essential
