What you will do in your working day

You will be working alongside a skilled engineer to install and service to a high standard:

• CCTV 
• Access control
• Door entry intercoms
• Cloud based systems & Database management
• Fault finding and diagnosis of systems

The training you will be getting

Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks. 

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies. 

You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Upon successful completion, you will be offered a full time role and carry out works on larger systems. CPD learning can be provided.
