Job description
Vehicle Inspector
NSL part of Marston Holdings Limited has an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Inspector to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Vehicle Inspector with Marston Holdings Ltd you will carry out vehicle inspections in line with Transport for London [TfL] Quality Assurance systems.
A full UK driving licence and experience of driving manual vehicles is required for this role.
Job Description
* Inspect Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles to meet TfL licencing criteria
* Record inspection findings using PCs and Handheld Computers
* Liaise with customers, offering test feedback, advice, and guidance in terms of re-booking and rectifications required
* Updating the system with any vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation
* Liaise with colleagues and TfL over policy, procedures, and changes
Person specification
* Close attention to detail, ability to check documentation to ensure it is accurate and check vehicles to ensure they are in line with the licencing rules
* Excellent customer service skills
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Strong report writing abilities
* Full clean UK driving licence
