Your role as a Nurse Unit Manager will include: 

• Providing leadership to ensure the highest standards of care and clinical practice.
• Responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the shift.
• Continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of residents needs to implement a person-centred care plan.
• Mentoring your team members and role-modelling best practice
• To ensure that clinical equipment is maintained in a safe, clean and fully functional state. Report any equipment failures or damage to the Home Manager.
• To maintain standards of infection control within the home and to assist residents to maintain their own infection control needs.

Qualifications and skills:

• Current registration with the NMC
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Previous experience of leading a team is desirable
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks
• You work well within the team, leading, motivating and supporting co-workers, acting as a role model in delivering care upon best practice.
• You will have the right to work within the UK.
• Great attitude and a love for being a nurse.
