As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and results–driven individual to join our team as Junior Business Development Manager.
Role Overview: As the Junior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and sales across our construction sites and within our partner company specialising in hires and product supply to the construction industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our services to prospective clients. Your proactive approach to sales and business development will be instrumental in achieving our company's growth objectives.
Junior Business Development manager Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive sales growth and expand our client base.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including developers, architects, engineers, and property owners.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with the project management team to understand project requirements and tailor proposals to meet client needs.
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows to promote our company and generate leads.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
- Negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable outcomes for both parties.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and project opportunities using our internal systems.
- Monitor project progress and client satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner to ensure positive outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills.
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and industry regulations. Preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Self–motivated and results–oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast–paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes for sales tracking and reporting.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites and client meetings as needed.
