Exciting opportunity to join our Team

The role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Buyer to join our growing team based across two manufacturing sites in Peterborough.

This role will report to the Head of Supply Chain and will support the business by managing our supplier base (raw materials, key non-direct spend plus logistics) ensuring that our Team can deliver outstanding product to our customers on time and in full, as well ensuring the business is working with the right suppliers to support new product developments

We are looking for someone who is CIPS qualified and who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment, including running MRP. The right candidate for this role will need to have;

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• A strong bias toward teamworking across the entire business but still be able to work off self-initiative
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent work ethic Self-motivated with the drive to succeed
