Job description

A lovely client in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk seeks a full-time live-out housekeeper carer to join their family. The housekeeper carer needs to look after the elderly client and at the same time maintain their property tidy and well-organised.

Working hours: 9 hours a day, 4 days a week Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday.

Duties include:

• morning routine and care plan collaboration with client and nurses
• personal care, including preparation for bed baths with a 30-minute prep time and three sections (mid, top, legs)
• administering tablets and medication as per the routine
• no manual handling required as the client is fully mobile; support needed due to a weakened core
• assisting with getting ready for the day
• occasional hair washing, pad changes, and evening routine
• managing breathing equipment
• ensuring all necessary items for the day and night are in place
• changing bed pads, linen, and sheets, along with light housekeeping related to the client's daily care
• providing meals, including a cooked lunch (pescatarian), snacks throughout the day, dinner, and tea as needed

The client would like the Housekeeper Carer to start as soon as possible. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
