If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you!

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is 13 years old and lives with his family in St Helens and requires support with his complex and clinical care needs throughout the day on a 2:1 basis.

He loves to socialise with his family and care team and generally having fun sharing his hobbies and interests. He enjoys attending school, listening to his favourite music, watching TV, and exploring tactile play.

Throughout the day you will be required to assist with social activities as well as meeting his care needs, this could include personal care, mobility support and attending to his clinical care needs when required.

Our service user is non-verbal and communicates using sounds, gestures, and facial expressions. It is important you become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and want are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

It is essential that you are comfortable around pets as there are several pets within the household including a family pet dog

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team

We have the following shifts available;

Bank Shifts are available for this position

Take a look at our pay rates

Weekdays: £13.50 per hour (£162 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Weekends: £15.50 per hour (£186 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £18.50 per hour (£222 approx. per 12-hour shift)
