Job description
Central Employment is proud to announce its partnership with a new client that aims to revolutionize industry practices. The client is actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the fixed asset register and conducting month-end journal postings.
- Generating a monthly payment run.
- Creating Accrual and Prepayments journals.
- Performing Bank Reconciliations, including the reconciliation of Direct Debit accounts.
- Assisting in the analysis of month-end margins.
- Collaborating with the Management Accountant to lead the month-end process, ensuring deadlines are met to support reporting requirements.
- Handling the Quarterly VAT return.
- Completing financial returns for legal bodies.
