Hours: Part-time and Full-time positions available
Are you looking for an exciting teaching assistant role within the Bournemouth, Christchurch, or Poole area?
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about building positive relationships with pupils, supporting the class teacher, and offering support for a variety of pupil needs. As a teaching assistant, you will be supporting groups of children with both their learning and their behaviour, therefore any previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting would be beneficial, but not essential.
This position is open for candidates who are seeking either part-time or full-time work, with the possibility of starting in April 2024. Schools may consider applicants for an immediate start also. Positions are open to a range of Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 roles.
The ideal teaching assistant candidate: - Must be able to effectively support the class teacher
- Confidently work with groups of children or on a 1:1 basis
- Will be proactive in meeting the pupils’ needs
- Must be reliable and enthusiastic
- Have either teaching assistant experience or other relevant prior experiences
