Templater Fitter of glass products primarily for kitchens & bathrooms
Salary is dependant upon experience average 37.5 hours per week (30 hours per week guaranteed).
Contempo Glass Design is a trading arm of Ultimate Splashbac Ltd. We are a small friendly firm and specialists in producing and installing glass splashbacks, worktops, mirrors, shower screens and balustrade.
Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire we work throughout the UK (mainly Northern England) servicing our trade and retail customers with highly professional products and service.
This role will involve measuring and installing bespoke glass products and associated hardware within mainly residential properties. You will be working alone or alongside colleagues depending upon the work involved.
Duties Included (but not limited to)
- Visiting clients to take precise measurements as per requirements
- Discuss installation options with clients and observe any potential issues
- Accurately and clearly record measurements and drawings
- Liaise with sales office & factory regarding orders
- Installation of measured items to a high standard and in a professional manner
- Installation of hardware for shower screens or balustrading
- Liaise with clients whilst on-site
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, courteous & well mannered
- Experience of measuring items for installation
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to relay information in writing including drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in fitting products
- Full driving license
- Ability to manage own time effectively and efficiently
Previous experience within the kitchen/bathroom industry is desirable but not essential as full product & procedure training will be provided.
