Job description
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a leading SME in Preston to recruit a new Management Accountant. This an exciting time to join as the business are going through a period of change, therefore an individual who is adaptable, willing to learn and looking to take a step into a fast-paced environment, would be ideal.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Financial Director with the preparation of consolidated accounts for the Group company and subsidiaries
- Production of monthly management accounts and board packs including financial MI, variance analysis and investigation, rolling forecasts, budgets and business plans
- Assist with the audit process and tax queries from tax advisors
- Deliver and control cashflow management, planning, analysis and forecasting
- Strong focus on optimising cash flows within agreed commercial terms and strategy
- Control and manage inter-company and all balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver all compliance returns including VAT, PAYE, Government returns, company secretarial tasks and requirements
- Perform Ad-Hoc projects as and when required, such as new system implementation, aligning group accounting policies, implementing new controls, and ensuring financial controls and delegated authorities are adhered to
