Job description
Cheltenham Festivals is a charity creating experiences which bring joy, spark curiosity, connect communities and inspire change. Our year-round education, community and talent development programmes culminate at the town’s internationally acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music and Literature Festivals.
Due to the retirement later this year of our current Director of Finance, we are looking for a strong leader to work as part of our Senior Management Team, leading on financial management, planning and reporting to enable the Charity to meet its obligations and achieve its strategic goals. The postholder will line-manage the finance, production and operations teams and take on responsibility for insurance, IT and premises management. With excellent communication skills you will work closely with all departments both to achieve efficiencies and ensure effective processes and controls but also to support and inform future decisions.
You will have previously operated at Board level or equivalent and will bring your skills to our Senior Management Team to help deliver our vision of a world in which everyone can explore and create culture.
