SALARY: £45,000 – £50,000 + BENEFITS
JOB TYPE: PERMANENT FULL TIME
Role purpose
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an ambitious, proactive and detail orientated Finance Manager who will drive business profitability and oversee the development of new processes that underpin our financial strength as we continue to grow.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for making sure the group meets its financial and legal obligations. They will create and maintain best practice reporting, procedures and policies, help the Directors manage cashflow and business planning and support the business with risk and compliance.
Key responsibilities
Typical daily duties will include:
- Working with the senior management team, developing financial and commercial strategy by creating a group business plan.
- Managing cash flow.
- Preparing monthly management accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries (some commentary).
- Overseeing reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Offering support on tax, audit and risk.
- Managing external relationships with banks, auditors, lenders and finance consultants.
- Management of processes and controls.
- Onboarding and management of finance systems.
About you:
We are looking for somebody who:
- Is educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Holds a recognised accounting qualification such as AAT/CIMA.
- Has demonstratable previous experience gained in a financial management role with effective cost control.
- Is detail orientated with a hands-on approach.
- Can think strategically with financial and business acumen.
- Has experience of managing and leading organisational change.
- Is highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Has the ability to multitask and work effectively between each business function.
- Possesses excellent communication and influencing skills.
