Acorn by Synergie is looking recruit a Project Co-ordinator for their leading construction company client based in Bridgwater. As the Project Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in working with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all technical specifications are met and designs are implemented accurately.

Your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate the technical aspects of the construction projects. This will involve working closely with the design team to ensure that all plans and drawings are in compliance with planning and building regulations. You will also be responsible for monitoring and checking the construction process to ensure that it is progressing according to plan.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical skills and a deep understanding of the construction industry. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Prior construction industry experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all technical specifications are met.

- Review and approve plans and designs, ensuring they are in compliance with planning and building regulations.

- Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the construction process.

- Coordinate with the design team to update plans and drawings as needed.

- Communicate and collaborate with all project stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.

- Provide technical advice and expertise to the project team.

- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

- Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on technical coordination.

- Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of construction processes.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Familiarity with planning and building regulations.

- Experience using software such as AutoCAD

- Exceptional attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

- Flexibility to travel to construction sites as needed.
