The post holder will play a valued and important role in assisting the relevant manager in the monitoring of capital expenditure for general capital schemes and IFRS 16 leases as well as providing support for live projects within the Capital Development Department. This will include assisting with the development and quality control of business cases in line with the NIGEAE (Northern Ireland Guide to Expenditure Appraisal and Evaluation) and through each stage of the project to the delivery of scheme onsite. .
Responsibilities
- The post holder will be the initial point of contact for General Capital/ IFRS-16 Business Cases to log and provide an initial quality control before passing to the relevant manager along with providing general admin support.
- Support the Business Manager in the provision of monthly and annual reports to assist with the monitoring of capital expenditure.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- (a) A professional/3rd level qualification or equivalent in Business Studies, mathematics, finance or other discipline where there is an element of information or ICT and have 2 years experience at a minimum Band 4 level. OR
- (b) HCN/HND in Business Studies, Mathematics, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of information or ICT and have 3 years experience at a minimum Band 4 level. OR
- (c) 4 years experience at a minimum Band 4 level.
