Job Description
Maintain all accounting related activities within the business. VAT reporting
Analyse project margin through the business
Prepare cashflow and budgets.
Ensuring that all the necessary tax, permit and licencing requirements
Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company's ledger.
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly profit and loss
Report the financial position of the company to the board on a monthly basis. This includes Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Project Margin, Cashflow, Accruals, WIP.
Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing
Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives.
Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support
Taking care of tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation
Manage day-to-day finance operations.
Preparation of financial and management accounts.
Manage cash flow processes, optimising profits and minimising losses.
Monitor and manage financial risks in-line with compliance and regulations.
Business partnering and working collaboratively on projects.
Assisting with annual reviews/audit preparation
Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policy and procedures
Implementing /strengthening processes and controls to improve reporting and accounting accuracy
Developing / mentoring and oversight of the finance team, inc. hands on support
This role will also require you to support with various ad hoc projects with the ability to influence senior leadership team and analyse scenarios with a solution-orientated mindset, as they arise
