Job description
QC/ Microbiologist
Location: South East
Salary: Competitive
The role involves performing environmental monitoring within aseptic manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Conducting analysis of environmental monitoring samples and maintaining QC facilities to meet GMP requirements.
The position also involves performing QC testing of materials and products, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, handling hazardous materials safely, and supporting the Quality Management System.
Key Competencies:
Experience in QC GMP testing with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in conducting and analysing environmental monitoring samples.
Support and maintain the Quality Management System, including document control.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and QA teams.
Education and Experience:
BSc in Microbiology or a related discipline.
Relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, healthcare) with a solid understanding of GMP/GLP regulations.
Skills:
Good knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations.
Proficient in QC, Microbiology, and environmental monitoring within a pharmaceutical setting.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Proven experience working in teams while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Self-motivated, flexible, well-organized, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
