Senior Health & Safety Advisor / H&S Manager Location: Heathrow
Salary / Benefits: £50,000 - £55,000 plus generous Company Benefits & Company Car/Allowance
Summary
Working for one of the UK's leading engineering and construction companies, A fantastic opportunity has arisen an experienced Health & Safety professional to undertake the role of Senior HSQE Advisor on a prestigious £70m civils infrastructure project for Heathrow airport.
Working with the Lead Safety Manager you will be responsible for health & safety on site facilitating compliance with legislative, corporate and other requirements in relation to Health and Safety as well as assisting in the co-ordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the Safety Management Systems (SMS) for the project.
Looking for candidates with: - A background working on civil engineering / groundworks projects (experience working on resurfacing schemes would be highly desirable )
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent
- A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation
- Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.
- Self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrable achievement in a similar role
- CMIOSH desirable
