Job description
Nepacs is a regional charity which supports positive futures for prisoners and their families.
Nepacs is part of a partnership led by St Giles/Wise Group, including Rethink and Thirteen, to deliver support services across the North East to men under probation supervision. To increase our provision, we are looking for motivational wellbeing coaches in the Cleveland area who will work with those referred to overcome barriers they face, someone who will deliver an outstanding service demonstrating commitment to the partnership as well as to Nepacs. The successful candidates will be part of a multi-agency team, they will hold a caseload to deliver person-centred support, focusing holistically to address a range of issues faced by service users referred by the Probation Service. All applicants will have excellent organisational ability, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications plus exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; some experience of working within the criminal justice system is desirable and a passion for making a difference are essential. This contract is fixed term and is subject to DBS enhanced, prison security clearance and pre-employment checks. All applicants must also hold a current driving licence with regular access to a vehicle.
