Job description
Themis recruit are looking for a Family Solicitor the successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of privately funded family matters from instruction to completion. As a solicitor/lawyer you will need experience in matrimonial financial relief private children act nuptial agreements separation agreements cohabitation agreements and injunctive relief. As a mediator you will be up to date with your accreditation and have experience of dealing with matrimonial finances cohabitation finances and child arrangements.
Key tasks will include:
Managing your own caseload of family law matters. Progressing your caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receive appropriate professional timely and pertinent legal advice with regular contact whilst managing their expectations. Ensuring proper control of work in progress billing and cash collection. Drafting and preparation of documents. Networking and business development. To undertake selfdevelopment and comply with relevant training requirements by the Law Society/CILEX and inhouse training when required. Undertaking other duties reasonably required by partners or senior management.
