Job description

Software Engineer (Data Engineer)

Roles & Responsibilities

* Work with business & Technology team to analyse and access business
requirements
* Plan, design and develop data solutions using, Azure data bricks, Azure SQL and
Azure Data Factory
* Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting ETL solutions
* Writing relational and multidimensional database queries
* Adhere to high design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
* Provide the best practices and guidelines for managing data of different levels of
complexity
* Provide hands-on support for all Data related activities within the BI Team

Skills

* Understanding of Data Architecture / Data Modelling. Understanding of Kimball
DW methodology.
* Experienced in SQL and good to have python.
* Data Modelling experience
* Able to deliver a broad range of data engagements in areas such as Data
Architecture, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Lineage, Data Governance,
Data Quality and BI Reporting
* Use of data profiling tools, ETL and data management tools
* Full project lifecycle experience - End To End Delivery
* Experience working with a source control solution (Azure DevOps, Git or similar
* Azure cloud knowledge with (Azure SQL Server, Azure Data lake gen2, Azure
Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps)
