Job Title: Roofer
Location: Haringey
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Paying: £16.17 p/h PAYE

Daniel Owen are currently working with a local authority seeking qualified Roofers to join the team.
Responsibilities of the Roofer - Social Housing:
- Carrying out roofing work identified on job ticket to an agreed standard ensuring any associated work is completed or reported back to manager.
- Carrying out roof inspections, recording and documenting findings and offering appropriate solutions.
- Erect, use and dismantle access equipment i.e.. Steps, ladders, platforms, access towers etc.
- Material installation including profiled translucent sheet, tiles, slates, ridges, hip tiles, 3 layer felt, torch on felt etc.
- Prepared to provide an emergency out of hours service on a rota basis (where required).
- Record and document all work activities and submit information to required timescales.
- To be responsible for undertaking weekly vehicle checks and reporting defects to the Co-ordinator/manager.
Requirements of the Roofer - Social Housing:
- Ability to build good relations with Client Officers and customers.
- To be able to deal with customers in a professional, friendly and considerate manner.
- Ability to manage personal workload and cope with a variety of tasks.
- Must be able to use initiative to assess situations and decide on appropriate action
Qualifications of the Roofer - Social Housing:
- Hold an NVQ level 3, relevant City and Guilds certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience is essential.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
