Job description

My client is a construction engineering business based in Warrington. Due to continued growth they are recruiting this newly created permanent position into their finance function, this is an excellent opportunity with a rapidly growing organisation who can offer fantastic scope for development and progression.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger from start to finish. This will include processing high volumes of invoices onto the system accurately and efficiently, dealing with supplier queries offering high levels of customer service, reconciling supplier statements and processing payment runs. You will also get involved with adhoc work outside of your purchase ledger duties which will give you exposure to new areas of finance.

This role will suit a candidate who has experience in an end to end purchase ledger position and has the confidence to come in and hit the ground running. Good communication skills are essential in order to build relationships with suppliers effectively.

The salary on offer is paying up to £26,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working and a generous holiday entitlement. They are also offering excellent opportunities to develop and progress which will help to enhance your finance career.
