We are looking to engage with Bank Catering Assistants to support our passionate catering teams across Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wombourne, Cannock, Whitchurch, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.

Our ShireLiving Schemes offer excellent services to our customers and a pleasurable working environment, where you can interact with our customers and support making a difference to people’s lives. The Catering teams deliver a range of breakfast and lunch options 7 days a week 365 days a year between the hours of 9:30am to 14:30pm, with a skilled catering team.

You will be engaged as a casual worker that means that the organisation is under no obligation to offer you work nor are you under any obligation to accept any work offered. The key tasks that a Bank Catering Assistant would be required to undertake include:
• Providing excellent, enthusiastic, friendly customer services to all customers
• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of some meals
• Ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures
• Undertake general kitchen duties, including putting away deliveries, cleaning and washing up

Bank Catering Assistants will be required to have a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety in the workplace. Along with the ability to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of services.
All Bank Catering Assistants will be expected to have a relevant DBS check, which the company will fully fund.

Bank Catering Assistants will receive an hourly rate of £10.42, annual leave at 12.07%.
