- Wage : Apprentice rate. Flexible hours.
To be considered for this job applicants must:
- Already have a Level 2 qualification in childcare (has to be childcare, health and social care will not be considered) and have the certificate to show the Manager.
- Looking to gain a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- Please note letters from tutors confirming course completion will not suffice.
Details about the apprenticeship:
- Minimum 30 hours per week paid employment at the apprentice rate of pay.
- Apprentice training provider will come to the nursery to assess apprentices, therefore you will not need to attend college.
- Nursery will provide mentorship and further training as the apprenticeship progresses.
Ideal candidates must:
- Have a willingness to learn and progress.
- Work alongside qualified staff to ensure children's needs are met.
- Adhere to the in-house training induction manual.
- Along with support from the nursery, the ideal candidate must show an interest in their own personal development.
- Attend courses relevant to working with young children.
