Financial Controller, Kent/ London/ Hybrid
90– 100kpa, plus great benefits including car allowance & bonus

Our client, an industry leader with an exciting future with plans to triple in the next 5yrs, are looking for a Financial Controller, to help drive the business forward. This role will have the remit to roll out a best–in–class controllership function. Reporting into the CFO, the successful candidate will have full autonomy in this role. The client is also going through a system upgrade, so any experience on a similar project will be advantageous.

Key Duties:–
– Ensure all EMEA reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
– Activities include, but not limited to, budgets, monthly close process, variance analysis of income statement and balance sheet results, cashflow forecasting & tracking of key KPI's.
– Ensure all risks, opportunities and potential issues are identified, highlighted and addressed.
– Partner with executive team to review & analyse results, provide financial guidance & set business strategy.
– Management of UK finance team, with direct and indirect reports. Mentoring, coaching and line management. Allocate roles and responsibilities with continual review to ensure best practices are adhered to.
– Ensure all Statutory and Tax reporting, and compliance, is completed on time, in all the markets under your remit. Includes Statutory Accounts, Annual Returns, Tax submissions and VAT returns.
– Audit lead and key point of contact with all external accounting and legal contacts.
– Key role in implementation of new ERP system in the UK.
– Develop and drive initiatives to continually improve processes and internal controls.
– Lead the overall education of the business regarding the importance of solid financial management and controls.
– Support finance team members' efforts to regularly train the non–finance side of the business in procedures and policies.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have demonstrable experience in line with the above, with a particular focus on the team leadership capabilities and the technical aspects. You will enjoy a fast paced working environment and be comfortable in an ever changing business environment.

This business has multiple offices, this role will require the successful candidate to have a presence in the Kent & London office, with a good balance of hybrid working.
