Careers Service Manager

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Careers Service Manager to provide professional Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance in a wide range of settings to students at the College, from the point of enquiry to their progression from college to employment, training or Higher Education. 

Working across three sites and in alignment with the Gatsby Benchmarks, the Careers Service Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the college meets and exceeds the expectations set in these Benchmarks. 

This role involves managing a team of Careers Advisors in providing impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance in a variety of formats including: 1:1 guidance interviews; drop-ins; group tutorials; and career related events. You will also develop an effective and flexible Careers Education and Guidance Service to students of Solihull College & University Centre & Stratford Upon Avon College (across 3 sites) at pre - entry stage, on programme and at exit.  

You will need to be an effective team player with the ability to relate to a diverse range of young people and mature clients from a range of diverse backgrounds.
