Upstairs at the Grill are looking to recruit a General Manager to join our team . You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus up to an extra £8000+ per year with Tipjar.

We are a split level Manhattan style steak house and speak easy bar located in Chester City Centre. We offer our guests the opportunity to explore our selection of locally sourced dry aged beef and extensive wine & cocktail list.

Essential requirements of a successful Upstairs At The Grill General Manager:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a fine-dining restaurant environment
• Developing and training the team to a high standard to maximise both service and bottom line profits
• Working to Labour budgets
• Ordering and stock controls
• Flexible and adaptable
• Strong passion for the industry and for guest satisfaction
• Ability to lead and inspire a team
• Possess excellent organisational skills, be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and you should be reliable and punctual
