Housebuilding. Yorkshire

Six Figure Salary + Bonus + Car.

Cognisant are delighted to be instructed to appoint a Technical Director, for a region of an award-winning developer, who build an excellent product in desirable locations. Leading the Technical Department you will be pivotal in the continued success of the region. 
Key aspects:

• Leading the engineering and design teams, taking responsibility for the co-ordination of architectural and engineering design within the Regional office 
• Ensuring that technical department procedures are adhered to, and layouts, technical reports for land appraisal and required working drawings are provided within the agreed date schedule
• Owning the budget for the Technical function reporting on costs, headcount and external consultant fees 
• Providing value engineered solutions to problems encountered and encourage innovation 

To be successful in this role, you will be an existing Technical Director looking for a new challenge or a Head of Department seeking carer progression. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on technical engineering or design background within housebuilding.
