Job description
To work closely with a diverse group of professionals, such as business leaders, developers, and systems administrators, to develop highly efficient and successful systems that align with Weetabix's strategic goals. This entails identifying, planning, and executing innovative technological solutions that directly support our business objectives.

Here are the key responsibilities:
- Create innovative solutions to streamline processes, supercharging operational efficiency and empowering data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and resolve any potential risks and obstacles in solution designs, providing effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain crucial architectural documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, and best practice guidelines.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and architecture designs to non-technical stakeholders, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams like business analysts, project managers, and IT infrastructure teams.
- Ensure that all solutions adhere to security and regulatory requirements through the implementation of best practices and active participation in security audits and assessments.
- Provide exceptional technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards through the thorough review and approval of technical designs.
- Contribute actively to architectural forums, both within our Weetabix organization and the broader PHI organization.
- Leverage strategic core systems, such as PowerPlatform and Boomi, skillfully within solution designs to maximize the benefits of economy of scale.
- Design business systems with robust business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities for uninterrupted operations.
Requirements
Must Haves
- Understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
- Ability to create technical designs in order to fulfil business requirements.
- Proficiency in working with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with integration platforms, preferably Boomi, and experience with API design and management.
- Understanding of development principles and lifecycles
- Good comprehension of business processes and ERP/supporting systems such as WMS & APS.
- Exposure or experience with SOX compliance.
Nice to Have
- Experience in creating architectural designs for business solutions, including integrations and automation.
- Intermediate SQL language experience; scripting / development language skills.
- Experience or knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
- PowerPlatform / PowerApps / PowerAutomate experience.
- IT Service experience, ideally with exposure to ITIL.
