As our Cyber Security Engineer you will join our incredible Electrical team within our Engineering department. You will be responsible for evaluating product cyber security risk to road users, proposing and evaluating solutions to tackle any challenges.
While the role is primarily remote, occasional visits to our sites in Nuneaton and Warwick are likely to be required from time to time.
We would like you to:
- Analyse vulnerabilities to develop & maintain Cyber Security TARA together with product team, supporting or leading as necessary
- Re-evaluate and maintain TARA as assumptions, information, and designs change
- Identify Cyber Security goals and requirements and define appropriate controls
- Define and agree Volta Trucks product cybersecurity test strategy, developing test plan & test cases
- Support Cybersecurity testing (penetration, fuzz etc.) on the product (vehicle, ECUs etc.)
- Document & evaluate cybersecurity test results
- Develop processes, work instructions, guidelines, templates, and checklists for product Cyber Security & Software Updates, across the organisation, supporting or leading as necessary
We would like you to have:
- Competence (gained through education, training or working experience) in developing Cyber Security TARA according to industry standards, e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, SAE J3061 or similar
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, SAE J3061, UNECE WP29 R155 & R156, ISO/TS 9001, ITAF 16949 or similar
- Product development domain knowledge such as gained from working in an automotive, aerospace, maritime, medical, embedded electronics environment or similar
- A curious and inquisitive mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to understand, explain and communicate complex concepts
