Job description
A national multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy is looking to add a proactive Accounts Manager to their London based team.
The Accounts Manager Role
The successful Account Manager will join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting construction projects.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Accountants, and Senior members of staff to ensure that financial operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist in preparing financial statements and month-end closing processes
- Maintain well-organised and current financial records
- Assist in processing payroll and reimbursing employee expenses
- Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry
The Accounts Manager
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
