What you will do in your working day
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Learning to use an extensive suite of cutting-edge computer aided design
- Work under the guidance of our experienced Engineers
- Assist in infrastructure and structural design solutions
- Assisting in undertaking foundation, superstructure, drainage and highway design
- Assisting with the production of working drawings, engineering report, project management
The training you will be getting The apprenticeship would lead to the following qualifications:
- Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship
- BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) following successfully passing the relevant Professional organisation entry requirements via the associated End Point Assesment
- Training will be delivered by Nottingham Trent University at their Nottingham city campus on a day release basis
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship On completion of the Apprenticeship you will have satisfied the requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer by the Institution of Civil Engineers in accordance with the requirements of the Engineering Council as the registration body.
