Job description
We are looking for experienced and ambitious Night Shift PSV Engineers to join Arriva, based at our Luton Depot.
You will be a part of an established team maintaining over 111 buses and coaches, running a modern fleet up to Euro 6 specification including Mercedes and Volvo models. Our Luton Depot operates over 10 bays and houses generous tooling and specialist equipment. We also provide full on-site facilities including Gym, Pool room and a Hot Canteen.
As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA.

The role will involve: - Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Qualifications: HGV/PSV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2/3 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation)
- If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
- Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical
