Survey Solutions is a leading engineering surveyor specialising in land, measured building and underground utility surveys as well as monitoring and site engineering schemes. We have a network of nine offices with our teams of surveyors and engineers working on some of the UK’s major construction and infrastructure developments.
Role Overview:
We are looking to appoint an Email Marketing Executive to join Survey Solutions at our Ipswich head office on a full-time basis.
As our Email Marketing Executive you will work as part of our head office team reporting to the Marketing Manager. This position will help the marketing department achieve its short, medium and long term goals by delivering impactful and targeted email marketing campaigns across existing and potential clients within the UK construction sector.
You will have experience in a B2B e-mail marketing environment (minimum two years) with a strong interest and passion in digital and email marketing. You will be confident working across and supporting various departments of the business including regional operations and our business development and sales teams.
Main Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute and manage impactful email marketing campaigns to our existing clients and prospects across different project, client and industry sectors.
- Ensure data across our marketing and sales platforms (Dynamics 365) is accurate, relevant and up to date allowing us to deliver segmented email marketing campaigns.
- Report on the success of email marketing campaigns and propose changes to help increase our email marketing reach and campaign success. Analyse how email marketing has helped drive new opportunities and orders at account and contact level.
- Work alongside members of the marketing, sales and operations teams to develop and deliver new content.
- Implement automated campaigns across the ‘lead to order’ process. From nurturing lead generation and marketing qualified leads through to using email marketing to increase our conversion of quotes to orders.
- Successfully implement tracking to all campaigns to ensure the measurement of all email marketing activity.
- Clearly demonstrate the impact of email marketing on our marketing and sales funnels measuring ROI and its impact on other marketing and sales metrics.
- Understand the technical aspects of e-mail marketing to help improve delivery and other key email marketing metrics.
Requirements
Experience/Knowledge:
- Previous experience (minimum two years) in a B2B e-mail marketing position.
- Experience of marketing within the UK construction/civil engineering industry.
- Experience of delivering impactful and engaging email marketing campaigns to a broad range of account and project sectors.
- An understanding of marketing and sales funnels and using insights and analysis to drive improvements.
- Working alongside operations, sales and business development teams as well as agency partners
- Excellent working knowledge of email marketing platforms (ideally Dynamics)
- Experience of managing multiple automated email marketing campaigns from concept through to campaign analysis.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including impactful copywriting experience
- Confident, professional and positive when working with both internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills to manage multiple campaigns.
- Creative, analytical and data driven.
- Competent in main Microsoft software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A passion for digital marketing with an emphasis on email marketing and the importance of data.
- A thorough understanding of the technical aspects of email marketing platforms
- Inquisitive with the ability to drive change and improvements.
Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full clean UK driving license
- Able to commute and work from the Ipswich head office daily
- A minimum of two A-levels to Grade C or above.
- Degree, diploma or qualification in a Marketing related field
